Mark G. Gilchrist, MD, FAAP
Dr. Mark is a graduate of Chelmsford High School. He graduated with honors from the University of Miami and received his MD from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women and Children in Orlando, Florida. Currently, he has served as Chief of Pediatrics at Lowell General Hospital. Dr. Mark is the medical advisor for The Paul Center in Chelmsford, as well as the Greater Lowell Family YMCA. He currently serves as the vice chair of the Board of Directors of the Lowell General Physician Hospital Organization. He has also served as chairman of the Board of Directors of The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lowell.
Lisa M. Sevigny, MD, FAAP
Dr. Lisa Sevigny is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine and did her pediatric residency training at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She joined the practice in July of 2001. Board certified in pediatrics, she has a strong interest in special needs children. Dr. Sevigny is married to a Lowell General Hospital emergency room physician and they have a son, Freddy, and a daughter, Keiko.
Sheila M. Galvin, MD, FAAP
Dr. Sheila Galvin is a graduate of Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at The Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts New England Medical Center. Dr. Galvin has practiced pediatrics both as a community physician, as well as providing pediatric urgent care. She is married to a Lowell General Hospital Obstetrician, and has three children.
Anita R. Shah, MD, FAAP Dr. Anita Shah is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. She completed her training at Children's Medical Center of Dallas. She was part of a group practice in Dallas, Texas and has since relocated to Massachusetts in September of 2017. An Avid traveler, aspiring chef and fitness enthusiast, she is a wonderful addition to our practice.
Mary Ann Durkin, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Mary Ann received her Bachelor’s in Nursing at Lowell State College, her Masters in Parent/Child Nursing at Boston University and her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certificate at Northeastern University. She had been a staff nurse in pediatrics and maternity at Lowell General and St. John's Hospital in Lowell. She has worked in pediatrician’s offices and in hospital emergency rooms. She was a pediatric nursing instructor at Boston College and at Children's Hospital Boston
Kathy Marson, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Kathy received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at St. Anselm’s College, and her Master’s of Science in Nursing at Boston College. She spent time as a preceptor in the nursing program at Boston College. In addition to general pediatrics, Kathy has spent over twenty years, working with the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Program at Floating Hospital for Children in Boston.
Faith DeCesare, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Faith received her RN from St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing in Worcester and stayed at St. V's as a pediatric nurse. She then obtained her BSN at Assumption College. She has two Masters Degrees, one in Health Education from Worcester State College, and the other, a Masters in Nursing from U. Mass Lowell. She is a certified Nurse Practitioner in both Pediatrics and Family and Community Health. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she was a pediatric nurse in hospital and office settings. Faith has published several articles in the nursing journals on nurse triage and nurse-parent teaching
Miriam is our clinical manager. She received her BSN in nursing from The University of Lowell. Prior to joining our practice, she was a school nurse, and also worked in adult hospice care.
Victoria received her RN from Mount Wachusett Community College , she previously received her LPN from Greater Lowell Vocational and Technical School. She worked with Dr. Sevigny before coming here in 2002.
Chris is our triage and patient education nurse. She is a graduate of the Tewksbury School of Nursing and worked at Saints Memorial, Tewksbury Hospital Special Pediatric Service and as an office nurse in a pediatric practice
Kelley received her LPN from the Tewksbury State Hospital School of Nursing. She joins us with a great deal of experience in office based pediatrics.
Michele trained at Shawsheen Tech and then received her MA from Northern Essex Community College. Prior to joining us, she worked in The Emergency Department at Saints' Medical Center. In addition she worked for Mayo Medical Labs.
Lee Ann received her BSN from Rivier University. She also works at Lowell General Hospital in Pediatrics.
